At what point am I meant to start enjoy cycling? Currently, all I feel is tight-chested, sweaty and a bit sore...

And try to work out what I'm going to write about next (time travelling, gun-toting dinosaurs, anyone?), I'm going to write some aimless rubbish here. Just talk about... stuff... So, if I were you, I'd skip to the next entry in your friends list.

Nasty talk about toe nails )
This cycling thing really isn't working so far this year.
Random rambling about cycling and the weather )
Did that paragraph actually make sense?

I finally got round to watching Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut last night. Superman, Superman, Does the Things A Super Can... No wait, that's not right... )
I'll leave it there for the moment. I've actually got quite a lot of work to do at the moment. And a MP3 player full of BBC radio show to listen to while doing it. So, I'd better get on with it.

Cycling Pros...

Long Sleep
On days when this happens less than a mile away from where you live, causing major disruption and enormous tailbacks all around, you get really happy that you're on a bicycle and cause cycle along the gutter, sailing past all the cars in the traffic jams.

Ouch, ouch, owie. My toe hurts.

Long Sleep
I had a Bizarre Cycling Accident (and those sorts of things really do deserve capitals don't they?).

I was cycling along quite happily when, somehow, I don't know how, I managed to catch my left big toe and only that toe on the kerb. It really rather hurt and said something along the lines of "Oooh, ow, gosh and golly that really smarts". I was cycling close to the pavement, obviously, and it was a piece of paving that stuck out into the road a little to create an enclosed a parking area at the side of the road but I really have no idea of how I did it.

I'm pretty sure it's not broken but when I looked at it when I got to work it was starting to swell up and bruise. I think that may have knackered any ideas I may have had about wearing high heels on Saturday night. It's okay though, I have a couple of nice pairs of flat shoes and some nice low heeled shoes as well. We'll see.

In other news, I've just been given a really nice new computer here at work. It's black and sexy and flat screened and give me lots more room on my desk. It's faster and sleeker and better than my last one. So that's a nice thing. And, considering the sort of work I do, I really need it.

And I should probably get back to it now, shouldn't I?
