I neglected to mention yesterday that it was the third anniversary of our wedding. Which occasioned a nice party on Saturday evening. Up until the party actually started we had no idea how many people were going to turn up and I was slightly worried that it was going to be a miserable failure.

However, in the end there were about 20 people there and it was excellent! Much was drunk and eaten - although I stuck to my diet (I was going to write 'managed to stick' there but it really isn't a hardship so there was no managing about it) and so didn't do much of either. Except for cups of tea. I also got dressed up in the end. I wore a rather lovely grey moleskin knee-length, sleeveless dress, fishnets and my sexy boots. The dress really showed that I had lost weight as well, because I have to say that I really looked rather good in it. Which is the first time I had thought that in a long time. I still need to lose more, but I didn't look unpleasantly overweight in it, which I did the last time I tried it on.

Anyway, yesterday I gave Candy a book - the latest No.1 Ladies Detective Agency Book, entitled The Miracle At Speedy Motors. She got me a rather gorgeous red stone choker/necklace thing with lots of dangling red stones. I'll have to take a photo of it because that describes it not at all.

I still went to bed at 9.30 though and was asleep before she came to bed. Ah. Romance...

I did a quick Google on Wedding Anniversaries and, as I thought, it was very, very easy to find the list I mentioned. And it's this one. So this Cotton anniversary. Which could be quite nice, really. Next year's though is Leather. And that one could be really fun! There's a slightly different on Wikipedia.

To Me!!! And to my beloved Candy. Who won't see this, 'cos she never reads my Journal. So, basically, I'm just being a bit self-centred here...
